Payment processing services are third-party vendors who process payments using various payment methods across all sales channels and geographic regions. Order Management supports multiple payment methods, such as credit cards, debit cards, online banking, PayPal, and gift cards, and interfaces with a wide variety of external payment processing services. In Order Management, the payment processor and its supported payment methods are configured in the External Processors (Payments) in the Administration module.
Order Management is integrated with a wide range of US-based and global payment processors.
The Salesforce B2C Commerce LINK cartridge is now enabled to support payment integrations for Order Management using the B2C Commerce payment processor. The B2C Commerce processor enables LINK Technology partners to handle and implement payment integrations using the LINK cartridges.
Each payment processor offers a range of configurable options for each of their payment methods, such as:
- Authorize the payment during the order process (AuthOnly) and capture the funds once the order is fulfilled (Capture)
- Immediately authorize and capture (Sale)
- Void payments (Void)
- Refund payments (Refund)
- Credit payments (Credit)
- Multi-Capture
- Multi-Currency
- Tokenization
- Asynchronous mode
- Authorization Expiration Days

In Order Management, you can set when payments are captured to meet your specific business requirements. Order Management receives orders from B2C Commerce with an Authorization only (Auth Only) payment or immediate authorization and capture (referred to as a ‘Sale’) payment. To use this Sale transaction type, configure the Order Entry Payment Transaction Override field in the Customer Service Provider.
