Cayan

Cayan is a global payment gateway that allows Salesforce B2C Commerce merchants the ability to accept payments in USD currencies only. Cayan supports Multi-Capture and Tokenization.

Payment transactions can be handled as follows:
- Authorization transactions: authorizes a valid payment method with a customer's order. The payment is then captured once the order items are fulfilled.
- Sale transaction: authorizes a valid payment method with a customer's order and automatically captures the funds as a single transaction.
Tokenization: Substitutes sensitive, stored account data with a string of numbers known as a token, can be used for either AUTH or CAPTURE payment transactions. In Cayan, the subscription ID takes the place of the sensitive data and typically retains the last four digits of the account number. The remaining numbers are generated using proprietary tokenization algorithms. For example, a shopper can purchase products on a website without having to reenter their account information, which is stored as a token. The TokenizationEnabled field for tokenization is set to 'Yes' or 'No' in the Cayan External Payment Processors in the Administration module.

Note: When configuring the Cayan payment processor, Cayan V2 Account, the following fields are mandatory:

Label: Name of the payment processor
MerchantKey: Connects to the web service
MerchantName: Connects to the web service
MerchantSiteID: Connects to the web service

Note: When setting up the Cayan merchant account, note the following:

Multi-Currency is not supported. Cayan only supports US Dollars.
Multi-Capture is turned On by default. Transactions are based on Order Management Multi-Capture setting.
Tokenization is turned On by default. Transactions are based on Order Management TokenizationEnabled setting.

Multi-Capture	Yes	In Order Management Administration, enable Multi-Capture: click Settings > Preferences > External Processors > Payment Tab - Select the Cayan V2 Account processor, and then select Yes in the MultiCapture checkbox.
Tokenization	Yes	Cayan supports tokenization for all the transaction types except credit. In Order Management Administration: click Settings > Preferences > External Processors > Payment, select the Cayan V2 Account processor, and then select Yes in the TokenizationEnabled checkbox.
Split Payments	Yes	Split Payment up to the original authorized amount is supported when Multi-Capture is turned on. When Multi-Capture is turned off, token is required to perform a Sale transaction and Tokenization must be turned on.
