Regularly

Regularly monitor accurate pricing and inventory on the merchant’s site. Investigate and fix any issues as follows:

  1. Search for the Item either by Catalog (Amazon) or Item #.
  2. Click on the Item ID. The Item dialog appears.
  3. Determine the source of the error and fix.
  4. Execute the job to send the pricing and inventory information to Amazon; the AmazonItem attribute must be set to Yes.

Example: The merchant made changes to the price of one of the Items; however, the new price or an inaccurate inventory level is listed on the Amazon site. This might have occurred because the Order Management AmazonItem attribute for the Item was not executed to update the pricing information on Amazon.

To update the inventory or pricing, follow these steps:

  1. In the Main or Inventory accordion menu, select Inventory Manager.
  2. Along the top of the page are the search criteria fields, select Amazon in the Catalog drop-down list or enter the Item #. Then click Search.
  3. Select the Item by clicking its ID. The Item details dialog opens.
  4. Scroll to the Attributes section. The AmazonItem attribute must be set to Yes.
  5. Because the AmazonItem attribute was not set to Yes, it needs to be added as this attribute sends the inventory and pricing updates to Amazon. Select the proper Amazon catalog from the drop-down list, and then click Add.
  6. Click the AmazonItem link, select Yes from the AmazonItem drop-down list, and then click Update.
  7. Confirm the SKU by logging into the Amazon Seller Central at http://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/homepage.html
