Searching for Inventory in Customer
Service Center
In Customer Service Center you can search for
item inventory information for new orders and return orders, or when
browsing a catalog.
- If you are in the process of completing an order with a customer,
check if the item is available. Click New Order, select the
customer, then select the desired item. The item detail window
appears with On Hand, On Hold, and Available items.
- If you are checking an existing order, verify if the item is in
stock. Click Find an Order and search for the order. The orders
detail window lists In Stock or No Stock in the
Status column.
- If you need to browse a catalog for a customer, verify the
quantity available for each item by site. Click Browse Catalog
and select the item. The item detail window appears with the Site
Name and Site Qty for the item.
- If you need to check if an item has been returned to Inventory,
verify if the item has been returned. Click Find Return Order
or Find Return and click the ID. The window appears and
shows the original order quantity and the quantity returned.
If there is no stock available, and the order is time-sensitive,
contact your administrator to assist in replenishing the items in
inventory. See Searching for Inventory Items
in the Administration Module.
