Items Waiting Approval Queue

(Only available if Item Approvals are enabled in the Order Management System Preferences.) Items Waiting Approval are waiting to be approved before being added to Order Management. If approval is performed by an automated process, then this queue should be monitored for Items that remain unapproved after the process has run. If approval is performed manually, then this queue should be monitored regularly to identify and approve Items as needed.

Example:

The automated process for approving Items fails silently due to a system error. An Order Management user notices a buildup of Shipping Orders in the Waiting Approval Queue and investigates the reason for the approval process’ failure to run.
