In certain situations, you might need to temporarily halt the
progress of an Item through the Order Management workflow. For example, you
might want to hold up an Item that has not yet been Approved for sale
because you are still working on sourcing it. You can stop an Item from
continuing through the workflow by suspending it. Similarly, you can allow
a suspended Item to continue through the workflow by unsuspending it. To
suspend one or more Items, follow these steps:
- In the Inventory accordion menu, select the Inventory
Manager.
- Browse or search for Items as described in Searching for
Items.
- Select one or more Items in the list using the checkboxes.
- Select Suspend Items from the Run an action on these ___
Items drop-down list.
- Click GO. Suspended Items are highlighted with a yellow
background in Item lists.
To unsuspend one or more Items, follow these steps:
- In the Inventory accordion menu, select the Inventory
Manager.
- Browse or search for Items as described in Searching for
Items. You can select Suspended from the Quick
Search drop-down list in the search form to restrict the search to
suspended Items.
- Select one or more Items in the list using the checkboxes.
- Select Unsuspend Items from the Run an action on these
___ Items drop-down list.
- Click GO. Unsuspended Items are no longer highlighted with
a yellow background in Item lists.
