VPN Setup for US01 (NA), US02 (NA), and POD10 (EU) Users

Before you can connect to the reporting server, you must configure a VPN connection using Salesforce Authenticator as a second authentication factor.

Note: These instructions apply to Microsoft Windows 7 and later.
  1. Install the Salesforce Authenticator app on your mobile device from the appropriate app store. For information on the Salesforce Authenticator app, see https://www.salesforce.com/solutions/mobile/app-suite/security.
  2. Open a browser on your computer and connect to the VPN User Portal URL. For best results, use Internet Explorer (see the troubleshooting topic). The VPN User Portal URLs are:
    • For US users (US01): https://vpn.us01.oc.demandware.net:4040
    • For US users (US02): https://vpn.us02.oc.demandware.net:4040
    • For EU users (POD10): https://vpn.pod10.oc.demandware.net
    • For EU users (EU02): https://vpn.eu02.oc.demandware.net
  3. Enter your VPN user credentials and click Login.
  4. A QR code appears on the page. Run Salesforce Authenticator on your mobile device, and scan this code. When you have scanned the QR code, the app generates a new 6-digit passcode every 30 seconds.
  5. Click Proceed with login.
  6. Enter your VPN user name in the Username field.
  7. Enter the one-time password in the Password field. The one-time password consists of your VPN password plus the current 6-digit code shown in the Salesforce Authenticator app. For example, if your password is [email protected], and the code shown in the app is 654321, then you would enter [email protected] in the Password field.
  8. Click Login. The Welcome to the UserPortal page appears.
  9. Select the Remote Access tab.
  10. A number of Sophos VPN software packages are listed. Click Download or Install for the package appropriate to your operating system. If you download a package, run it as administrator and complete the installation by selecting the default options.
  11. When the installation has completed, the Sophos traffic light icon appears in the Windows task bar, showing a red light. Right-click it and select Connect.
  12. Enter your reporting account credentials and click OK. When the connection is successful, the traffic light icon shows a green light.
  13. When you've connected to the VPN, you can connect to the Report Manager URL to audit your reports. For best results, use Internet Explorer (see the troubleshooting topic). The Report Manager URLs are:
    • US01: https://reports.us01.oc.demandware.net/reports
    • US02: https://reports.us02.oc.demandware.net/reports
    • POD10: https://reports.pod10.oc.demandware.net/reports
    • EU02: https://reports.eu02.oc.demandware.net/reports
  14. When connecting to the URL, enter your Report Author credentials.
