Payment processing providers support multiple payment methods,
such as American Express, Visa, or MasterCard. Some payment providers also
enable you to configure custom payment methods (CustomCharge) such as
store cards, credit cards, debit cards, online banking, settlement on
delivery.
Configuration steps can include:
- Select the payment method from the pick list (Administration:
Settings > Preferences > General > Pick Lists > Payment
Methods)
- Select the external payment processor and define the payment
methods supported by that processor. (Administration: Settings >
Preferences > External Processors > Payment)
- Configure the payment method at the company, catalog, or site
level (Order Management Administration: click Settings > Providers
> Payment > Company Level)
- Specify the payment transaction override to use when a Customer
Service cart is submitted for processing (Settings > Providers >
Customer Service > Company Level > Order Entry Payment
