Amazon Provider Settings

The Amazon Connector is configured in the Amazon Provider in the Administration module. For general information on Order Management Providers, see Configuring Providers.

In addition to Order Management settings, the Amazon Provider includes a link to Amazon Seller Central, where you link your Amazon account with Order Management. This creates a security token and authorizes Order Management to share your seller information with Amazon. Note that this token might expire after a period of time, in which case you need to repeat this process. To link your Amazon account to Order Management, follow these steps:

  1. In the Settings accordion menu, select Providers. The Provider Manager appears.
  2. Click Amazon under the list of Providers.
  3. Click the Company Level link under Amazon Provider Profiles. The Global Object Configuration dialog appears.
  4. Click Click to Allow Order Management Access to Amazon at the top of the dialog. This opens the Amazon Seller Central login page.
  5. Log in using your Amazon Seller Central account credentials.
  6. Read the Amazon MWS Agreement and click Submit.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Record the Amazon Token Request Process information and provide it to Retail Practice. This includes the following information:
    • IP
    • Domain
    • Status: Merchant ID
    • Marketplace ID

Amazon Provider settings are always configured at the Company level. To configure the Amazon settings, follow these steps:

  1. In the Settings accordion menu, select Providers. The Provider Manager appears.
  2. Click Amazon under the list of providers.
  3. Click the Company Level link under Amazon Provider Profiles. The Object Configuration dialog appears.
  4. To add a setting to the visible form, select it from the drop-down list and click Add Individual Setting.
  5. In the Data column, specify a value for each desired setting.
  6. Click Update to save the changes, click Cancel to close the dialog without saving and return to the Provider Manager page, or click Clear Configuration to clear all settings in the dialog.

The following table describes the functionality of each configurable setting. Note that hovering over the help (???) icon adjacent to certain fields in the UI opens a tool tip describing the associated field.
