Security Roles Manager

Order Management supports multiple security roles, each with a predefined view of the system. You can assign one or more roles to a user account. Each role is assigned a permission set, which is a group of rights or permissions. Users who belong to that role can access certain portions of the system. The permission sets vary according to the role. For example, a Customer Service Manager can edit order line items in Customer Service Center, whereas a Customer Service agent can't. The permission sets for the default roles can be edited. If you change them, the roles in your system will no longer match the descriptions in Managing User Accounts and Roles.

Note: The contents of an individual permission set can't be modified.

The following roles are available:

The following table describes the default permissions available to the Administrator and Power User roles in the Administration module. A check mark (???) indicates permission for that role. See Role Permissions for details on permissions of other roles.
