Control Center

Control Center enables you to monitor the state of Commerce Cloud instances and take appropriate action. Using Control Center, you can initialize (reset), start, stop, and restart instances. You can view utilization statistics (and optionally download these statistics to a .csv file). You can also view the Control Center audit log.

Control Center Roles
To use Control Center, you must first have an account in Account Manager, and this account must be assigned to the appropriate roles. Account Manager has two predefined roles that apply to Control Center: Control Center Administrator and Control Center User. Both roles are general roles covering broad capabilities.
Control Center Instance Permissions
If you are assigned the Control Center Administrator role in Account Manager, or if you are granted the Grant Permissions permission in Control Center, you can grant other users permissions to your instances.
Log Into Control Center
To use Control Center, you must first log in. When you log into Control Center, you use your Account Manager credentials. Each account in Account Manager is assigned to various roles, and some roles require two-factor authentication (2FA) to log into the account. If two-factor authentication is required, you need a mobile device with the Salesforce Authenticator app installed. To log in successfully, you must also be assigned to the appropriate roles.
Manage Instances in Control Center
Control Center enables you to view the status of instances in your organization, and to perform appropriate actions against those instances, provided you have sufficient permissions.
Create a Role in Control Center
To create a role, perform the following steps.
Specify Instance Permissions for a User in Control Center
If you were assigned the Control Center Administrator role in Account Manager, or if you were granted the Grant Permissions permission in Control Center, you can grant other users permissions to your instances. If your organization has a small number of users, specifying permissions individually might be the simplest way to complete your configuration. If your organization has a large number of users, you should also consider using roles. You can also combine both configuration techniques.
View the Audit Login Control Center
The audit log records all actions performed in Control Center, regardless of which user performs the action. However, depending on your permissions, some entries in the log can be hidden. If your Account Manager role is Control Center Administrator, you can see all actions in your organization. If your Account Manager role is Control Center User, you can see only some actions. Specifically, you see actions performed against instances you're currently permitted to work with (determined by the administrator).
