Shipping Orders Waiting Approval Queue

(Only available if Shipping Order Approvals are enabled in the Order Management System Preferences.) Shipping Orders Waiting Approval require approval before being fulfilled. If approval is performed by an automated process, then this queue should be monitored for Shipping Orders that remain unapproved after the process has run. If approval is performed manually, then this queue should be monitored regularly to identify and approve Shipping Orders as needed.

Example:

The automated process for approving Shipping Orders fails silently due to a system error. An Order Management user notices a buildup of Shipping Orders in the Waiting Approval Queue and investigates the reason for the approval process’ failure to run.
