Purchase Orders Waiting Fulfillment have been sent to Vendors and are waiting to be fulfilled. The length of time that might indicate a problem varies based on a number of factors, such as the normal expected delivery time.

Example

A Vendor is out of stock of an ordered Item, but a problem at the Vendor has prevented that from being communicated. An Order Management user might need to contact the Vendor to investigate and resolve the issue.
