The Order Default settings let you configure Order Management’s handling of certain types of orders.
To enable the Order Defaults, follow these steps:
The following table describes the checkbox fields on the New Order Defaults page.

| Suppress Combining checkbox | If this box is checked, then Sales Orders that don't explicitly allow or disallow combining won't be combined. This has no effect for Sales Orders that are explicitly set to allow combining, or if order combining has not been enabled. |
| Suppress Splitting checkbox | If this box is checked, then Order Management won't allow sales orders to be split into multiple shipping orders. If it isn't checked, then sales orders can be split into multiple shipping orders. |
